Honoring Veterans at Sealed Air

November 17, 2017

Takeaways

Sealed Air shares ways that companies can support veterans.

At Sealed Air, we recognize the service of our military veterans and value their experience. And this November, we are proud to announce our commitment to hiring veterans into five percent of available positions in Charlotte, NC.

In 2014 we launched the Sealed Air Veterans Network to be a global network of employees who have either served in the military or are dedicated to supporting veterans. Over the last three years, our network membership and outreach have continued to grow thanks to the support of champions within the company.

Our Veterans Network provides a platform for targeted engagement and communication opportunities for employees to interact. Members of the Veterans Network are presented with a unique Sealed Air Veterans Network challenge coin to recognize their service and support of veterans.

Through the development of our Veterans Network, we have learned the critical role that nonprofit organizations play in assisting businesses in identifying and leveraging veterans’ skill sets. I encourage you to join us by committing to support veterans organizations, like our partnership organizations Patriots Path, Inc.Veterans Bridge Home, and Hope For The Warriors®, who help to connect veterans to the local community and provide career transition support. In addition, Sealed Air is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the 2nd Annual Charlotte Run For The Warriors®, which supports Hope For The Warriors® in providing support to wounded veterans and their families.

To fellow veterans and their family members, I salute you.
