What attitudes and behaviors define entrepreneurs? What traits are typical of an entrepreneurial spirit? How do these characteristics manifest across countries and cultures? Answers to these questions will be discussed at the November 18 event Grit Happens: Defining the Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Join Amway President Doug DeVos, Global Entrepreneurship Week President Jonathan Ortmans and special guests speakers for the reveal of the 2015 Amway Global Entrepreneurship Report and a panel forum about the characteristics of entrepreneurs.

Guests to this anticipated event will hear about AGER, an annual worldwide study that examines attitudes toward self-employment and the changing entrepreneurial landscape. This year’s report delves deep into the key characteristics of entrepreneurs and debuts the Amway Entrepreneurial Spirit Index, a new research layer that measures entrepreneurial spirit in three dimensions including desire, confidence and conviction derived from acclaimed psychologist Icek Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior. Panelists will also share their perspective on the changing entrepreneurship landscape and offer expert advice to entrepreneurs.

Can’t attend the event? Join Amway President Doug DeVos for a live Facebook chat from 7:00-8:00 a.m. EST as he announces key findings from the 2015 Amway Global Entrepreneurship Report and takes your questions about entrepreneurship. (facebook.com/amway)
