In its fourth year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s MBA Case Competition gave business students nationwide an opportunity to examine important issues facing the business community. In partnership with FedEx Freight, this year’s case challenged MBA students from across the country to think deeply about what business brings to society, and what happens when a business leaves, or comes into, a community. On November 11, three finalist teams representing the University of California, Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, and Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business pitched their ideas to a live audience and a judges’ panel and competed for cash prizes. Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business became the winner of the 2019 MBA Case Competition.
