As workforce challenges continue to evolve, the need for stronger collaboration between employers, training providers, and community partners has never been greater. At the upcoming TPM NLN Summit, we’ll explore how innovative tools are helping communities strengthen talent pipelines, and support job seekers through more frequent and complex career transitions. The following Q&A highlights one organization’s approach to building the shared infrastructure needed to connect people with opportunity more effectively.

What is the workforce challenge your organization seeks to solve?

We aim to help more people access better jobs, faster and more affordably. By partnering with governments, nonprofits, and employers, we support personalized career navigation for job seekers while strengthening collaboration across organizations.

In one or two sentences, what are the key contributions your organization is making to workforce development?

Our platform supports workforce intermediaries—including employers, training providers, community partners, and job seekers—by creating stronger connections between individuals and opportunities. As career transitions become more frequent, building this kind of infrastructure is increasingly critical.

How do you believe the TPM framework and network can activate or advance your organization’s mission?

The future of workforce development depends on being demand driven. Shared digital infrastructure can accelerate TPM-aligned coalitions by capturing job demand, aligning skills with industry needs, mapping available talent, and building pipelines that move people from awareness to employment.

Can you share a brief example or story of how a community has benefitted from your organization’s efforts?

In West Michigan, MiCareerCompass is using our technology to bring together employers, job seekers, and community organizations. By working within a shared system, employers save time while accessing a wider pool of qualified candidates, and job seekers are matched more effectively with opportunities and training providers. To date, there are more than 550 learners and earners registered and more than 100 vetted degree and non-degree training programs with trusted providers.
