Join us Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. as we bring employers with available jobs to the Radisson Hotel Plymouth Harbor for Hiring Our Heroes – Plymouth, MA. At this free hiring event, employers across all sectors will be on-site to interview and recruit veteran job seekers, active duty military, members of the National Guard and reserve components, and military spouses.
This employment event is a being conducted by U.S. Chamber of Commerce; local Chambers of Commerce; the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL VETS); Massachusetts Committee, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR); the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; The American Legion; NBC News, and other local partners.

The employment workshop consists of a classroom session beginning 1 hour prior to the hiring fair, followed by GE's own veteran employees conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions with all pre-registered participants. Mentoring sessions focus on resume building; resume writing, and interviewing techniques for all job-seeking veteran and service member participants.
Interested candidates must complete the FREE electronic pre-registration in order to participate. A maximum of 50 participants will be accepted for the full workshop. Once the pre-registered candidates have their coaching sessions, the opportunity may be available for “walk ins” to have a coaching session through the end of the Fair (depending on availability).
