Pfizer - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

In response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, the Pfizer Foundation has provided $500,000 in grants to support the provision of urgently needed aid and supplies to front-line healthcare workers. This grant funding is supporting urgent assistance by Direct Relief and Project HOPE, two key international organizations working with local partners on the ground to provide supplies and other support to health workers and health systems in affected areas in China. Both organizations are currently working to deliver supplies and equipment to protect healthcare workers—including coveralls, masks and gloves—in Wuhan and other locations seeing a massive influx of patients. This funding will enable these immediate supply deliveries and also support longer-term health needs.
