Please join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Beyond 34 Cincinnati program for our Community Transition Workshop where we will be discussing the culmination of projects from our research and planning, and incorporating community members in the shift to local implementation. We will focus on the finalized interventions, their local leaders, and implementation plans that we have built from our March 9, 2020 community meeting and subsequent virtual working group meetings to refine each prioritized intervention.
After context-setting by Beyond 34 leadership, meeting attendees will participate in one of three virtual deep-dive, interactive breakout sessions for either organics solutions, commercial diversion strategies, and residential and consumer diversion education. They will have the opportunity to engage local project leaders and the Beyond 34 team. Discussions will emphasize next steps for implementation and how participants can support them.
- Presentation of findings from latest implementation deliverables and information on how to leverage prior Phase 1 and Phase 2 deliverables moving forward;
- Overview of latest visions for interventions and developed sub-projects inclusive of goals and objectives
- Deep-dive interactive breakouts to discuss interventions and sub-projects in more detail, implementation plans and opportunities for Cincinnati stakeholders to get involved
- Plenary discussion of Beyond 34’s continued role moving forward in Cincinnati and nationally
