The U.S. Chamber Foundation's Center for Education and Workforce is partnering with Capita, Greenville First Steps, and Spartanburg First Steps to host a special event that will highlight the economic case for high-quality early childhood education as a part of the 2018 Workforce of Today, Workforce of Tomorrow roadshow.
About the Event
This event, free to attend, will gather business leaders, economic and workforce development professionals, policymakers, and philanthropic leaders for a discussion of how high-quality child care supports the development of the future workforce while ensuring the well-being and productivity of today’s workforce. The program will be structured around the release of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s recent report Workforce of Today, Workforce of Tomorrow. Katharine Stevens, author of the report and Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, will keynote the event. Lunch will be served.
