- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation today announced the next steps in developing the Job Data Exchange (JDX), a set of open data tools and resources that will improve the speed and clarity of employer signaling to education, training, and credentialing partners, which in turn will help learners and workers better understand what jobs are available and what skills are required to fill them. Central to the pilot will be the development and field testing of an expanded data standard, or schema, for job descriptions and postings.Is the U.S. workforce ready for the 4th industrial revolution? Through scalable partnerships with educational institutions and businesses, Career Choice helps prepare Amazon’s hourly employees for in-demand careers – in the company or elsewhere.It has been one month since participants were announced for the U.S. Chamber Foundation Career Readiness Lab and the Tempe Chamber of Commerce has been moving quickly to respond to the call for innovative, Chamber of Commerce-led programming to better connect classroom to career. This summer, the Tempe Chamber of Commerce will launch Career Ready Tempe, a youth workforce pilot program intended to tackle barriers to employability for income-eligible youth and help employers create a robust youth talent pipeline.
