Indonesia has become the new COVID-19 epicenter, experiencing a massive surge in infections over the last month, driven by the Delta variant. This increase in cases has overwhelmed the healthcare system and hospitals in multiple localities, and there are growing concerns about the availability of oxygen and other life-sustaining supplies.

As seen in India and other places around the world, this alarming situation in Indonesia is a stark reminder of the devastating effects the pandemic can have on any nation and its most vulnerable populations. It’s important that we remain diligent in our efforts to help and support other countries, as well as our own. That’s why we’re now working to combat the health crisis in Indonesia.

Based on consultations with government officials in Indonesia, as well as non-governmental experts who are on the front lines, we have gathered a list of critical supplies needed to tackle these challenges.

If your company has in-kind products or services you’d like to offer, the U.S. Chamber Foundation has a COVID-19 Business Response Portal where you can virtually list your donation, and we’ll organize offers in a format that our partners can quickly and easily parse. We can then them match offers where they are needed the most.

We are also compiling a list of NGOs on the ground in Indonesia who are collecting cash donations.

The Chamber Foundation will continue to update the list of resources and supplies needed in Indonesia on our website as more information becomes available. For any questions, please reach out to ccc@uschamber.com.
