Earlier today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced the finalists for the 2019 Citizens Awards! For 20 years, the Citizens Awards have showcased businesses that make a difference around the world. Join us in congratulating these outstanding examples of corporate citizenship.

Since 2000, the Citizens Awards have honored the best in corporate citizenship. This year’s finalists are no different. From minimizing health disparities to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, this year’s finalists illustrate the numerous ways businesses are serving as a powerful force for good. Without further ado, here are this year’s finalists!

  • Best Corporate Steward – Large Business Finalists: Aflac, Salesforce, Stanley Black & Decker, and U.S. Bank
  • Best Corporate Steward – Small and Middle-Market Business Finalists: Berkshire Bank, Propeller, and SignUpGenius, Inc.
  • Best Commitment to Education Program Finalists: Mastercard, SAP SE, and Tata Consultancy Services
  • Best Community Improvement Program Finalists: AbbVie, Inc., Belden Incorporated, Citi Foundation, and The Kroger Company
  • Best Disaster Response and Community Resilience Program Finalists: FedEx Corporation, Johnson Controls, and SpotOnResponse LLC
  • Best Economic Empowerment Program Finalists: Barclays, Clark Construction Group, LLC, Kellogg Company, and Sachse Construction
  • Best Environmental Stewardship Program Finalists: Enterprise Holdings, Smithfield Foods, and Wells Fargo
  • Best Health and Wellness Program Finalists: Gilead Sciences, Inc., Lyft, and Merck & Co., Inc.
