WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Chamber Business Civic Leadership Center's annual "people's choice" campaign for the Partnership Award is in full swing. Among the five partnerships that are finalists in this year's competition, the one winner will be determined solely by public participation in online voting. BCLC is calling on all corporate citizenship stakeholders to take part in the campaign by voting and then sharing the story about the five worthy finalists.
"This year has truly brought home the fact that none of us can solve problems alone, but together we can make a difference," said BCLC Vice President and Executive Director Stephen Jordan. "We salute all of the finalists and we encourage all citizens not only to get involved in the Partnership Award voting contest, but to spread the word and show support for these great partnerships."
The finalists are:
- Chevron & Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership for developing learning centers in five countries
- CVS Caremark Corporation & Boundless Playgrounds Inc. for building inclusive playgrounds so all children, including those with disabilities, can play
- The Est
