Problem

Many Dollywood employees—often seasonal workers—struggled to find and afford childcare in the rural area of Pigeon Forge. Dollywood found that this had prevented several employees from returning to work, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Solution

Dollywood partnered with Upwards to provide on-site childcare at all of Dollywood Parks and Resorts properties. Dollywood committed to paying a portion of the childcare costs, while Upwards provided high-quality care providers at the park’s premises. All park employees are eligible, regardless of income.
