Talent Pipeline Management
When we ask young people “What do you want to be when you grow up?” the answers generally include—doctor, professional athlete, musician, actress. These are careers that we see every day in movies, TV, and real life.
Building on lessons learned, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has organized a TPM Academy that is focused on developing the capacity of business organizations seeking to organize employer members and orchestrate talent supply chains. The TPM Academy is supported by this curriculum.
The Chamber Foundation's Talent Pipeline Management initiative is a demand-driven approach to close the skills gap. Utilizing supply chain management principles, we call on employers to play an expanded leadership role as “end-customers” of education and workforce partnerships.
