As the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Marketing Manager for Signature Events, Jacqueline DeFreitas spearheads the promotion of Foundation events via email marketing, media outlets, and other creative channels. DeFreitas maintains relationships with key media personnel in order to best market events locally and nationally.  She manages the creation and printing of all event materials including ads, programs, and flyers. Additionally, DeFreitas monitors and updates marketing lists and website content.

Senior Program Manager, Signature Events

In her role as a Senior Program Manager for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Signature Events, Laura Garcia organizes programming for events at the U.S. Chamber and around the country. Garcia recruits thought leaders and industry experts as event speakers and coordinates day of activities from media attendance to event layout. She works closely with event sponsors to create high value programs that drive thoughtful discussion and debate in the U.S. business community.

As the director for emerging issues and research at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Michael Hendrix manages the Emerging Issues division’s programming, communications, and publications as well as its scholars, fellows, and researchers.
