Emerson is increasing production and using its ultrasonic equipment to create surgical face masks, face shields, disposable hygiene gowns, and to get PPE to care providers faster.
The company has also shifted manufacturing capacity at one of its key facilities to accelerate production of printed circuit boards for ultrasonic welding equipment critical to manufacturing N95 face masks.
Emerson's technology is being used to monitor temperature and humidity of COVID-19 test kits from development to distribution at healthcare facilities, pop-up emergency medical facilities, and testing sites.
