The Vertex Foundation will make donations totaling $5 million in 2020 to support global COVID-19 relief efforts, including doubling its match for employees’ charitable donations to eligible organizations responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Vertex Foundation’s funds will help organizations that are providing emergency relief and assistance in the global communities where Vertex employees live and work, with a focus on providing health care and supplies and support for vulnerable populations. Partners include Direct Relief, Boston Resiliency Fund, Feeding San Diego and Scripps Health Foundation among others.
