Carolina Panthers - Hurricane Florence Response

On September 20th, Carolina Panthers Charities announced their initial package to aid Hurricane Florence disaster relief efforts in conjunction with The David Tepper Charitable Foundation. The package will include $1 million dollars to the American Red Cross, primarily directed to its financial assistance programs, $450,000 to regional food banks, and aid to high school athletic programs that have been impacted by damage from the storm.

The Carolina Panthers announced that they have partnered with Visit North Carolina and Discover South Carolina, and are now helping to promote the #CAREolinas T-Shirt partnership between the two organizations. The shirts have been produced by Charlotte-based Recover Brands, which produces the shirts locally in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The shirt can be purchased for $20 on Recover Brands' website, and 100 percent of proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to the North Carolina and South Carolina hurricane relief funds.

During his September 17th morning press conference, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera debuted the shirt.
