Macy's

Macy's department store gave $50,000 to the Red Cross and is matching employee donations and customer contributions in stores. Macy's also donated $1 million to the United Way's Hurricane Harvey relief fund.

Major League Baseball

Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association will jointly donate $1 million to Hurricane Harvey relief and recovery efforts, spread amongst the American Red Cross and other humanitarian aid organizations in efforts to benefit neighbors and communities in need.

Marathon Oil

Houston radio station KPRC and Telemundo partnered with the American Red Cross to support the Harvey relief effort. Marathon Oil was among the corporate donors, donating $100,000 to relief efforts. Additionally, a group of MRO employees & contractors from Oklahoma gathered supplies to send to those in need in Texas.

Marathon Petroleum Corporation

Marathon Petroleum Corp. will donate $1 million to charitable organizations and municipalities in the Galveston County and Corpus Christi, Texas, areas to assist with recovery from Hurricane Harvey, and will donate up to an additional $100,000 to match donations from its employees.

Marriott International Inc.

Marriott International and The J. Willard & Alice S. Marriott Foundation are each contributing $250,000 to the American Red Cross, for a total contribution of $500,000, to assist those communities and individuals impacted by the hurricane. In addition, members of our Marriott Rewards, Starwood Preferred Guest, and The Ritz-Carlton Rewards loyalty programs have the option of donating points as contributions to the American Red Cross.

Mason Companies Inc.

In response to massive Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Mason Companies Inc., one of the largest direct-to-consumer footwear companies in the United States, and its subsidiary Figi’s Companies Inc. have donated footwear, apparel, and food items to aid in relief efforts. Mason Companies has teamed up with Soles4Souls, an organization that facilitates the donation of shoes, to distribute 3,532 items of footwear and apparel to impacted areas. Figi’s Companies is sending 1,500 food items to food banks in the impacted areas for distribution. Combined, the donations have a value in excess of $100,000.

Mast-Jagermeister US

$33,333 was given to USBG National Charity Foundation Bartender Emergency Assistance Program by Mast-Jagermeister US.

MasterCard

Mastercard announced a donation of $100,000 to American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Texas and Louisiana. Together with their issuing banks they are waiving any interchange related to donations through September 30, 2017 to specific charities.

Mattress Firm

Houston-based Mattress Firm is donating $1 million in products. The company will also use a percentage of every purchase made in-stores through Sept. 5 to donate an additional $1 million worth of pillows, blankets and mattresses. Customers at Mattress Firm stores can also donate to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Mazda

The Japanese automaker and its foundation are giving the Red Cross Harvey relief fund a $100,000 donation.

McKesson

The pharmaceutical distributor is donating $100,000 to nonprofit Direct Relief and $150,000 worth of medical supplies to World Vision.

Merck & Co., Inc.

Merck & Co., Inc. has donated U.S. $1.8 million in financial support and U.S. $2.7 million in medicines and vaccines through their humanitarian partners. The company continues to evaluate opportunities to provide support through agencies that are responding to these disasters, with an additional U.S. $1.5 million financial support currently under consideration.

Meritage Homes Corporation

Meritage Homes Corporation, a leading U.S. homebuilder with a significant presence in Houston, announced that its foundation will donate $250,000 to aid disaster recovery efforts in Texas. The donation, comprised of $125,000 to the American Red Cross and $125,000 to the Rebuild Texas Fund, will help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

MetLife

The MetLife Foundation will donate $250,000 to the Red Cross and match employee contributions.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors gave $500,000 to American Red Cross.

Michelin Corporate Foundation

The Michelin Corporate Foundation has donated $100,000 to the Upstate Chapter of American Red Cross to purchase a new Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV), expanding the fleet that the local organization deploys to disaster zones in the region.

Microsoft

Microsoft has provided $1.4 million in staff donations and corporate match to nonprofits, $228,000 total in cash grants to American Red Cross, Team Rubicon and Global Giving, and conducted 7 emergency service missions supporting nonprofit and government agencies.

Milestone Environmental Services

Milestone Environmental Services donated $5,000 to American Red Cross.

MillerCoors

MillerCoors announced that they were sending 50,000 cans of drinking water to one of their micro breweries in Granbury, Texas. The company is also donating $25,000 to the Red Cross.

Mizuho Financial Group

Mizuho Financial Group has donated $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity International in support of assistance for those affected by Hurricane Harvey; additional donations to the Red Cross and the JCCI Fund's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Mizuho increased its match for US employee gifts supporting disaster response organizations.
