USAA

Contributions from USAA, The USAA Foundation, Inc., USAA employees and members of USAA’s retiree club have surpassed $2.05 million in philanthropic support to the American Red Cross, Team Rubicon and the San Antonio Food Bank for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. $1 million was donated by The USAA Foundation, and USAA is matching its employees’ and retirees’ donations dollar for dollar. USAA is also coordinating volunteer opportunities for employees and retirees with nonprofit organizations.

Valero

Valero Energy Corporation is contributing $1 million to the American Red Cross to assist in relief efforts from Hurricane Harvey and associated flooding along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.

Vanguard Health Systems

The Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio (BHFSA) donated $50,000 in disaster relief to the Texas Baptist Men and the Salvation Army. The BHFSA was established as a result of Vanguard Health System's acquisition of the Baptist Health System in 2004.

Vectren

The Vectren Foundation has pledged $50,000 to United Way of Greater Houston and Interfaith of The Woodlands for disaster relief efforts and rebuilding. They've also set aside an additional $25,000 to match employee gifts dollar-for-dollar.

Verizon

Until September 8, post- and prepaid customers will recieve talk, text and data relief. Verizon will also pledge $10 million that will go to four relief-related nonprofits.

Visa

Visa contributed a $1 Million direct commitment to the Red Cross. As a top sponsor of the NFL, Visa also changed their entire opening weekend advertising to focus on Harvey relief.

Vitol

Vitol has made an initial donation of $1 million to Red Cross' Hurricane Harvey appeal to help provide immediate relief to those affected. In addition, process established to direct many additional contributions from employees worldwide to the relief effort.

Vizient

Vizient, Inc. is donating $1.3 million to help provide emergency relief to the impacted employees of health care organizations in southern Texas and Louisiana. The donation includes employee contributions matched 3:1 by the company through Sept. 30. Vizient’s 3,000 employees have contributed more than $150,000 in just 72 hours. In addition, the company has collected more than $125,000 from members and suppliers and is contributing an additional $1 million in matching funds and contributions.

VSP Global

VSP Global gave $5 million to the recovery efforts of Hurricane Harvey and Irma.

Walgreens Boots Alliance

Walgreens has committed $200,000 to the American Red Cross, and the company will enable customers to donate at its stores. Walgreens is also donating food items, first aid and medical equipment to the American Red Cross' emergency shelter at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The company is partnering with United Airlines to transport items from Chicago to Houston.

Walmart

Wal-Mart Stores and its foundation announced up to $20 million for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. This includes $10 million focused on support of American Red Cross shelters and $2 million in support of the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the Greater Houston Community Foundation. The retailer will also match customer donations two to one up to $10 million in cash and products.

Waste Management Inc.

Waste Management has committed to $3 million cash contribution allocated to Mayor Sylvester Turner's Harvey Hurricane Relief Fund ($1.5 million), the Red Cross ($1 million), and $500,000 (additional charities in South and East Texas).

Waterton

Waterton said it will donate $50,000 to the Red Cross. Chicago-based real estate investment and property management firmowns two apartment communities in Houston.

Weatherford International Inc.

Weatherford International gave $25,000 to Feeding Texas and $25,000 to J.J. Watt's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo is donating $1 million to support those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Donating $500,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, and an additional $500,000 to local nonprofits focused on recovery and relief efforts in Texas.

Western Union Company

The Western Union Foundation announced a $30,000 donation to the Red Cross on Sunday. The Western Union Foundation will also match "qualifying" contributions from its agents.

Whataburger

Texas burger-chain Whataburger is donating $150,000 to the Red Cross and $500,000 to local food banks. The company said it is also donating $1 million to the Whataburger Familiy Foundation which "provides emergency assistance to Whataburger Family Members who are experiencing an unforeseen financial hardship."

Williams Companies

Williams Companies Inc. donated $500,000 to United Way of Greater Houston.

Wolverine Worldwide

Wolverine Worldwide has committed over $2.6 million dollars in financial, footwear and apparel donations to the relief efforts in Texas.

Xylem

To offer their support to the community in Houston in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, all employee contributions made to the Xylem Watermark Fund will be double matched to aid disaster relief efforts and the American Red Cross.
