Microsoft has provided over $5.2 million in assistance to those affected by Hurricane Maria. This has included $1.6 million contributed by staff with corporate match, cash grants totaling $305,000 to the American Red Cross, Save the Children, UNIDOS, NetHope, and Global Giving. Free Skype into Puerto Rico, 16 Disaster Service missions, and technology grants to nonprofits and government agencies.
