Over the past decade, the Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) has issued a series of reports on the role of businesses in disaster response, primarily focusing on the philanthropic and social contributions that businesses make throughout the various stages of the disaster response process.
Last week, BCLC partnered with the American Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines and the Corporate Network for Disaster Response (CNDR) to host a two-day forum to improve disaster resilience in the Philippines. The forum's dual focus address business continuity and public-private partnerships.
