Merck & Co., Inc. donated U.S. $1 million in financial support through Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief; provided a $600,000 grant to the American Red Cross in August as part of a multiyear commitment to support disaster preparedness and relief efforts; provided grants to Americares, Direct Relief, Project Hope and World vision as part of an additional commitment to donate up to $250,000 to their humanitarian partners.
