CNN Money: $146.8 Million in Corporate Aid to Haiti

This afternoon CNNmoney.com reported  that 351 businesses have contributed $146.8 million to the Haitian earthquake response. This corporate response is the third-largest to a natural disaster

57 companies have donated $1 million or more in cash or in-kind donations, including Abbott, Comcast Corporation, FedEx Corporation, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Microsoft Corporation, and UPS. 

BCLC’s Disaster Assistance and Recovery Program continues to manage the Office Depot Foundation-sponsored Help Desk (1-888-MY-BIZ-HELP, bclchelpdesk@uschamber.com) to connect companies who are interested in providing relief to the victims.  The Help Desk is a central hub for businesses to share information on the relief and recovery efforts and document corporate aid contributions in real-time.
