Amanda Byrd is senior director of communications at the U.S. Chamber Foundation. Amanda has over a decade of experience in leading strategic communications for global corporations, startups, advocacy groups, and nonprofit organizations.
Previously, Amanda led public affairs and communications at the Economic Innovation Group, a bipartisan research and advocacy organization focused on bringing geographic inequality into the national conversation. Prior to joining EIG, Amanda led teams of communications professionals at several agencies for healthcare and technology clients.
Amanda earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications at West Virginia University, and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from WVU School of Journalism.
