Catherine Bartoli joined the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Division of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention also known as Get Healthy Philly in 2015. As the Healthy Food Procurement Coordinator, Catherine works with City departments and Philadelphia-based hospitals to integrate comprehensive procurement and nutrition standards into foodservice operations, policies, and contracts. Catherine works closely with several community-based organizations and a university-based cooking lab to provide technical assistance, product ideation, training, and resources to agencies and institutions serving food to thousands of Philadelphians every day. Prior to working with Get Healthy Philly, Catherine oversaw foodservice operations, staff training, and menu development for an urban school district in San Jose, California. Catherine is a registered dietitian who holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Master of Arts in Urban Studies.
