Mr. Leviton is the President and CEO of Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) since 2011, having previously served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1976 to 2011. His primary responsibility is setting the proper strategic direction for the organization and creating an environment and culture to further the organization’s efforts to improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
DLN is a strategic partner of the American Dental Association and over 15,500 dentists and 3,500 laboratories volunteer for its Donated Dental Services (DDS) program that provides comprehensive treatment for individuals with special needs. Over 120,000 people throughout the United States have received over $365 million in donated treatment since 1985, including military veterans who are disabled or elderly.
Other initiatives of the organization include Dental HouseCalls that brings care to people who cannot easily get to dentists’ offices and Donated Orthodontic Services (DOS), in partnership with the American Association of Orthodontists, to help low-income children get orthodontic treatment.
Mr. Leviton has a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Colorado and attended the University of Illinois for his undergraduate studies. He has served on several nonprofit boards, Most recently as President of the Foundation of a senior housing organization in Denver, where DLN is headquartered.
