Jami is passionate about purpose driven partnerships and to furthering sustainable business practices. As Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships for Aramark, she is responsible for enhancing Aramark’s reputation and aligning efforts with important corporate sustainability commitments that engage employees, protect our planet, empower healthy lifestyles and build local communities.
Jami co-leads Healthy for Life® 20 by 20, Aramark’s groundbreaking initiative with the American Heart Association to improve the health of Americans 20 percent by 2020. Additionally, Jami leads community health education initiatives including oversight of Feed Your Potential 365 Clubs which equip families with the knowledge, skills and confidence to discover, choose and prepare healthy food through hands-on experiences and interactive evidence-based education developed, designed and tested with the AHA.
Prior to joining the corporate communications team, Jami spent nearly 18 years in a number of marketing and business development roles with Aramark Sports and Entertainment. Combining hands-on hospitality experience and nearly two decades serving Aramark customers and clients Jami honed an approach that creates better customer experiences and also drive solutions-based outcomes.
Throughout her nearly 20 years with Aramark Jami proactively positioned the business as an industry leader in corporate sustainability. She has been recognized as an Innovator of the Year award from the Green Sports Alliance in 2016, a Fellow of the Presidio Graduation School’s Sports and Sustainability Certification Program and has been featured as a panelist or speaker at a number of conferences.
Jami holds a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University and a double Bachelors of Arts in History and Political Philosophy and a minor in English Literature from Binghamton University.
