Jennifer Mellor currently serves as the Chief Innovation Officer for the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for Phoenix Forward, the Chamber’s economic development initiative. Jennifer also oversees the Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation which focuses on workforce and community development.
Prior to this role, Jennifer served as the Vice President of Program Development, overseeing the Chamber’s events and programs. Jennifer initially came to the Chamber as the Director of Finance and was responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, financial statement preparation, overseeing the annual audit and general supervision of the operations team.
Jennifer holds an accounting degree from Arizona State University and obtained her MBA from the University of Phoenix. Jennifer is also involved with several local non-profit organizations including Special Olympics Arizona and the Valley of the Sun United Way.
Jennifer has over 10 years of experience in accounting and over 20 years experience in business operations. Prior to joining the Chamber, Jennifer worked as an analyst for Best Software and as a senior accountant for Casino Arizona. She is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Arizona.
Jennifer currently resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband John and three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys international travel and Arizona’s great outdoors; water skiing, hiking and running.
