Peter is the chief commercial officer at Ginger, the world’s leading on-demand behavioral healthcare system. Peter is responsible for Ginger’s growth and the success its clients and members achieve through the firm’s behavioral health coaching, teletherapy, telepsychiatry, and guided self-care tools. He leads a remarkable group of dedicated salespeople, client success executives, channel partners, consultant relationship leaders, and Ginger’s partnership, alliance, and acquisition team.
Before joining Ginger, Peter was the founder and managing partner of Peter Bridges Partners. He worked personally and intensively with CEOs, boards of directors, and senior executive teams at several of the world’s leading digital health, information technology, healthcare, and professional services firms as a business and commercial strategy consultant. Peter focused much of his consulting practice serving CEOs and the individual who holds the senior-most revenue generating position in a client organization (e.g., chief commercial, revenue, sales, or marketing officers). His clients ranged in size from pre-revenue start-ups to FORTUNE 10 companies. Often, Peter’s initial work with a client centered on a need to significantly increase sales growth and customer retention or enter new markets by establishing renewed commercial organizations.
Peter is a thoughtful, strategic, and expansive thinker on digital health issues. His former clients included leading global players in behavioral health, population health management/wellbeing, electronic health records (EHRs), medical device manufacturers, health services software providers, healthcare coordination firms, and innovative provider networks.
Before founding Peter Bridges Partners, Peter held senior executive roles and global practice leader positions with Hewitt Associates, Willis Towers Watson, and Aon Corporation. Earlier in his career, he founded a healthcare organization effectiveness consulting firm that was later purchased by a regional insurance carrier. He holds undergraduate degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University.
