Yunice Emir is an enthusiastically positive, resourceful and high-performing Communications and Corporate Social Impact professional with over 10 years of well-rounded experience in marketing and brand communications, PR, corporate social impact, sponsorship and event management. Currently, she is the Senior Manager of Community and Stakeholder Relations for Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) where she manages the company’s disaster relief, board placement and youth empowerment giving strategies. Since assuming the role in 2016, she successfully executed the Coca-Cola United Way campaign; launched the company’s volunteer time off policy and first online volunteer portal, Community KOnnect; developed and implemented CCNA’s disaster relief strategy, including the company’s inaugural participation in the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program and Missing Types Campaign; conceptualized and established the Disaster Action Alliance—a coalition of organizations from the public, private and nonprofit sectors in the U.S. with the goal of making a greater impact during natural disasters; and led efforts to coordinate more than $20.8 million and more than 6 million beverages to support disaster relief efforts.
Yunice began her Coca-Cola career in 2011 as part of the Sales Capability team where she was responsible for leading the training process for the company’s salesforce of more than seventy thousand associates. Shortly after joining the company, Yunice transitioned to the CCNA Public Affairs and Communications team as Manager of Brand and Business Communications, leading PR for various campaigns including Sprite LeBron’s Mix, Sprite Lyrical Collection and Share a Coke and a Song.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing at American InterContinental University in Atlanta, GA and her Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Hospitality Management from DeVry University. She sits on the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta board and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and ColorComm.
Yunice is passionate about promoting self-love and inspiring others. She is the founder and Chief Love Ambassador of Love Always YJE – a brand movement inspiring people to love themselves, seek love in all things and love others. While a native and current resident of Atlanta, she enjoys traveling internationally and connecting with diverse cultures.
