Zoe Switzer is the Human Resources Leader at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. The focus of her work at Jeni’s, and for the past 20 years in various not-for-profit, government, and for-profit organizations, is on cultivating the causes and conditions for individual, team, and organizational well being and productivity, and meeting financial goals while serving the broader community.
Prior to coming to Jeni’s, Zoe served as a consultant both internally and externally in organizations such as LBrands, Tween Brands, Goodwill Columbus, and Disability Rights Ohio. She has a Master’s of Organization Development (OD) degree, and loves (loves!) everything HR/OD related from federal employment law to leadership theory. She has a t-shirt that reads “I ‘heart’ HR” and doesn’t understand why not everyone has one of these.
She thinks that being a humane and caring employer/company is one of the most important things that can be done in order to create the kind of world we all want to live in, and feels privileged to work in one of the best.
She lives in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, two sons, and elderly dog.
