Abby Hills is director of communications at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF) Center for Education and Workforce—the nonprofit affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce dedicated to strengthening the nation’s educational standards and the quality of its workforce. Hills, responsible for overseeing communications on all platforms for all campaigns for the Center for Education and Workforce, has over ten years of experience leading strategic communications and creative operations for organizations of all types and sizes.
Before joining the Chamber of Commerce, Hills was the senior account lead at a digital communications agency, managing integrated marketing as well as creative brand, corporate identity, and content strategy for digital and print accounts for corporate, government, military, and non-profit entities. Client accounts spanned varied markets, including federal, retail, IT consulting, tech solutions and application development, cybersecurity, military, and more. Her prior experience includes leading communications and creative services for the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC); leading communications for the firmwide talent development studio at Gensler, an international architecture and design firm; and various communications and marketing roles at the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) as well as congressional offices on the Hill, where she got her start. Hills graduated cum laude from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology.
