Abby Hills is Director of Communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Center for Education and Workforce—the nonprofit 501(c)(3) affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce dedicated to strengthening the nation’s educational standards and the quality of its workforce by helping employers develop, engage in, and implement solutions that produce a real impact. Hills is responsible for overseeing strategic communications, creative, and brand strategy for all digital and print campaigns for the Center for Education and Workforce.
Hills has extensive experience working with and supporting organizations of all sizes and types. Before joining the Chamber, Hills was the senior account lead at a digital communications agency, managing integrated marketing as well as creative brand, corporate identity, and content strategy for corporate, small business, government, military, and non-profit accounts. Her prior experience includes leading communications and creative services for the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), a federally funded nonprofit; leading firmwide communications for talent development at Gensler, an international architecture and design firm; and various communications and marketing roles on the Hill, where she got her start.
Hills graduated cum laude from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology. Originally from Davidsonville, MD, Hills lives in Alexandria, VA.
