Lauren Cutrone, CHCP

Lauren Cutrone serves as Senior Director of Career Services at The College of Health Care Professions, where she leads the Austin campus strategy to assist job seekers from diverse backgrounds in career planning to find successful employment in their chosen health care professions.  She has worked for nearly two decades at the intersection of human Resources, IT and healthcare staffing and recruiting, and career placement.  Lauren leads several major employer and educator partnerships in the Austin area,  including Ascension Seton Medical Assisting Central Texas Workforce Development Scholarship Partnership, Eastside Memorial Early College High School Health Sciences College and Career Pathway Pilot Program, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Scholarship Match Program.

Lauren is an active member of the Austin community serving as a Committee Member on the Health and Wellness Committee for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Committee Chair of the Campus Events and Graduation Committee for The College of Health Care Professions, Committee Member on the Fundraising and Event Team for The Shade Project, a nonprofit melanoma prevention and education organization, and guest speaker for the nonprofit job assistance organization, Dress for Success.
Lauren’s passion for career services is based in her belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to follow their educational and career aspirations.
