Hey, I’m Rochelle Ballantyne, currently a junior at Stanford University. I live with my momma in Brooklyn, New York, and am the oldest of four. Since attending college, I tried to get involved with a lot of things that sparked my interest, mainly activism, law, and equality, something working at the Black Services Community Center continues to teach me more about. I’m also a member of the campus chapter of the NAACP, specifically the Co-Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee. Academically, I’m double-majoring in Political Science and African and African-American Studies, thinking about a minor in education. I don’t like long walks on the beach, I prefer to be in the water, I have a dangerous sweet tooth, I like trying new things, Netflix, online shopping, action movies, and of course my first love, chess.
