Asya Troychansky leads Root Capital's impact program, designing and overseeing mixed-method studies to identify Root Capital's impact on our clients and the impact of our clients on farmer households. In addition, Asya facilitates strategic development and dissemination of Root Capital’s Women in Agriculture Initiative. Previously, Asya worked in Mexico with Innovations for Poverty Action and with SEDESOL, the Secretariat of Social and Economic Development. She holds a Masters in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
Asya was a breakout speaker at the 2015 International Women's Day forum: 'The Empowerment Bridge: Building a Lifetime of Opportunity for Women and Girls'. The session was titled "Gender Lens Investing: Using Capital to Improve the Lives of Women and Girls".
