Bridgette Beam is a senior manager working to further Google's efforts to empower entrepreneurs around the world. Over the past 3 years, Bridgette has led the Google’s support of entrepreneurs internationally, building partnerships and programs in Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Now, as the global program manager, her team is working to fill the education, skills and diversity gaps in startup communities including Google’s Campus spaces. Bridgette brings with her a truly global background and a passion for making the impossible happen. Prior to joining Google for Entrepreneurs, Bridgette led Google’s outreach efforts in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA), based out of Ghana. In this role, she built programs that enabled software developers, startups and businesses to utilize Google’s tools to drive innovation and content generation on the web. Her efforts expanded Google’s reach to over 19 countries, training thousands of people while creating sustainable local tech communities.
Before Google, Bridgette’s diverse experience spanned jumpstarting a microfinance organization in Peru, attracting foreign direct investment in Nicaragua, working at Alcoa in the marketing strategy group, and studying in Thailand. She is an avid runner, maker, culinary experimenter and singer.
