Cathy Kenworthy is President and Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Health, the leading independent provider of worksite wellness solutions for employers. She was appointed CEO in July 2014 to lead the company’s vision, strategy and growth.
Cathy joined Interactive Health in 2013 as Chief Operating Officer, where she made a significant impact on the growth of the company. She directed the integration of Health Solutions – a wellness provider acquired in 2014 – and led the evolution of the organization’s service functions, data analytics and reporting capabilities.
Cathy enjoys fostering new ideas in support of large-scale opportunities, and believes in the fusion between disciplined process and fresh thinking to bring new solutions to life for customers and make meaningful profit impact in business. Prior to joining Interactive Health, she was head of Customer Engagement for Cardinal Health, led Retail Operations on a global scale for JPMorgan Chase and assumed General Manager and Marketing roles for Bank of America as well as GE Capital. She began her career at McKinsey & Company in Washington, D.C., where she provided strategic consulting services to a wide range of clients.
Throughout her 20-plus year career, Cathy’s leadership has led to ground-breaking new products, such as Bank of America’s much acclaimed Keep the Change program. She also led efforts toward significant operational gains, such as rationalizing 30 global sites to six in a two-year period of time and attaining higher customer and employee satisfaction during the integration of JPMorgan Chase and Washington Mutual.
Cathy is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellowship Program. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Goodman Theatre. She previously served on a number of other boards, such as Columbus Academy’s Board of Trustees, chairing the Education and Student Life Committee. She also was an inaugural mentor in 10-Xelerator, a New Venture Accelerator program supported by the Fisher College of Business and the state of Ohio.
Cathy holds a Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from Georgetown University.
