Courtney is the Director of Financial Capability for the CASH (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) Campaign of Maryland where she is responsible for leading the organization’s asset development initiatives to increase financial security among low- and moderate-income families in Maryland. She manages the financial education, planning and coaching programs, organizes Money Power Day® (the Baltimore region’s largest free financial fitness fair), and helps connect CASH’s tax clients to savings and wealth building products and programs. She also supports the organization’s strategy for integrating financial capability services in to municipal services. Courtney obtained her B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in social justice from Goucher College and her Master’s in Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University Institute for Policy Studies.
