Dan O'Neill is General Manager for the Global Sustainability Solutions Services, one of seven impact programs within the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives at Arizona State University. In this role, Dan connects the sustainability needs of local and global stakeholders to the knowledge and delivery capabilities of ASU and its global network of partners through the delivery of real, practical and effective sustainability solutions. Among 80 projects conducted across five continents, Dan helped to develop a multi-year partnership with the city of Phoenix to establish the Resource Innovation and Solutions Network (RISN), a global network of public and private partners. RISN advances integrated resource management using collaboration, research, innovation and application of technologies to create economic value and drive a sustainable circular economy through a network of global innovation hubs and local partners. Dan was also instrumental in positioning ASU as a Pioneer University in the Circular Economy 100, an innovation program created by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation to bring together corporates, governments and cities, academic institutions, emerging innovators and affiliates to develop new opportunities and realize their circular economy ambitions faster.
