Elijah is a Managing Consultant in the Sustainability Solutions team at Navigant, a Guidehouse company. In this role, Elijah helps corporate and governmental clients identify, develop, and implement solutions for achieving a low carbon, resource efficient future. Elijah helps corporate clients quantify the greenhouse gas emissions of their operations and value chain, set science-based targets on these emissions, and implement strategies for achieving emissions reductions—including those strategies that relate to the Circular Economy. Elijah also supports governments with their climate action and adaptation planning, conducting cost/benefit analyses for mitigation measures, engaging stakeholders, and building powerful financial analysis tools that enable decision-makers to plan and prioritize action. Recently, Elijah and his team have supported the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation to conduct a study to estimate the economic and environmental potential of implementing circular economy measures within the Great Lakes Region.
Previously at Navigant, Elijah supported the US Department of Energy, building technical analyses that underpin federal energy efficiency standards for multiple HVAC and refrigeration technologies. He also built technology forecasts for the US Energy Information Administration, predicting the energy efficiency and cost savings potential for a range of building technologies.
Before Navigant, Elijah worked for American Accessories Intl., a consumer goods manufacturing consultancy. While there, he redesigned the environmental and social compliance supplier auditing program and supported product development and sourcing projects for multiple Fortune 100 clients.
