Elizabeth Everett leads the First Five Nebraska policy team and our efforts to promote early childhood as a key economic development principle for the state and communities. Prior to moving to Lincoln, she lived in Washington, D.C., and worked for Senator John McCain and the Senate Armed Services Committee. In these roles, Elizabeth worked on several pieces of legislation, including the annual National Defense Authorization Act, the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act and the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act. Elizabeth received an M.B.A. from George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
