Elizabeth Tate is the Director of Global Corporate Sustainability at Johnson Controls. Elizabeth joined JCI in 2015 as the Director of Public Policy in the Washington D.C. office. Previously, she was the Senior Policy Director at the Alliance to Save Energy, a leading energy efficiency advocacy organization. She has also served as counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology and as a lobbyist for the American Public Gas Association.
Elizabeth began her career as an attorney at Fried Frank LLP in New York, where she specialized in Environmental and Land Use Law. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, and a Certificate of Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School.
