Ella Jamsin

Research Manager, Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Ella Jamsin is part of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which was set up in 2010 with the objective of inspiring a generation to rethink, redesign, and build a positive future through the vision of a circular economy. This model provides a coherent framework for systems level redesign and as such offers us an opportunity to harness innovation and creativity to enable a positive, regenerative economy.

As Research Manager, Ella manages the Foundation’s research and analysis activities, which aim to identify and share evidence of the benefits of a circular economy and insights into the transition pathways. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ella was a theoretical physicist – her PhD thesis explored the hidden symmetries of black holes in higher-dimensional universes – and worked as a business consultant for McKinsey & Company.
