Throughout her diverse career Gina has delivered results that have both generated and saved millions of dollars while ensuring internal and external customers receive high quality products and services on time and at cost. She has designed systems and processes for new facility startups, developed innovative new products and services, and transformed manufacturing and supply chain processes.
She is an exceptional leader and has been at the helm of several significant company efforts. For the past three years, Gina has led the enterprise in talent management and development for the manufacturing and supply chain workforce. With her technical background in multiple disciplines, supply chain and operations management experience, and the ability to collaborate with process partners and influence decision makers, Gina is having a significant impact in upskilling the current workforce and developing the pre-employment pipeline to ensure that Caterpillar will remain competitive.
Gina is deeply committed to the attraction, retention and development of women and underrepresented minorities in the manufacturing industry and other STEM fields. She is not only a mentor but a role model to other women in the manufacturing and engineering fields.
Additionally, Gina is a national and local leader in building the capacity of communities to meet their workforce needs. She most recently contributed to Accenture’s 2014 Manufacturing Skills and Training Study, Hope Street Group and Alcoa Foundation’s study on how to rebuild America’s manufacturing workforce, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation whitepapers on “Making Youth Employment Work” and “Managing the Talent Pipeline.”
