Ian Avington has nearly two decades of experience in engineering, mortgage banking, information technology, and career placement. He currently serves as Director of Career Services at The College of Health Care Professions, where he leads the Northwest Houston campus’ strategy to ensure students and graduates are prepared with the skills needed to launch a career. Fueled by his personal experience to overcome challenges and create a successful career, he works tirelessly with students to help them find employment in their chosen field.
Prior to his current role in career services, Ian worked in executive level positions at RIL Entertainment, Hewlett Packard, Greens Point Mortgage, and Intratech Technology. He has a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.
