Lindsay is a business strategist with 10+ years of international experience in a range of advisory, research, forecasting, and start-up roles at the intersection of business and social change. 

Based in SustainAbility’s New York office, Lindsay’s consulting portfolio includes finance, technology and food companies. Her thought leadership focuses on the potential of business to create social benefit.

In 2014, Lindsay launched Model Behavior, a research report and roundtable series focused on business model innovations that bring positive social and environmental impacts. It is the most downloaded report that SustainAbility has ever produced. She is currently working on the next phase of research focused on corporate innovation environments and how companies foster more sustainable business models.

Two years ago, Lindsay led the Regeneration Roadmap for SustainAbility, a project aimed at outlining a path for business to help advance the sustainable development agenda. Lindsay served as lead author of the white papers Down to Business and Unfinished Business and curated Regeneration Salons in five cities. 

Lindsay has been published in The Wall Street JournalFast Company, GOOD Magazine and last year she published a series of articles for the Guardian Sustainable Business on business model innovation. She is a frequent speaker at conferences focused on business innovation and social enterprise.

Prior to joining SustainAbility, Lindsay worked at Intellecap, a social development consultancy in Mumbai, where she founded a magazine on social enterprise, Beyond Profit. There, she managed research initiatives on social enterprise, microfinance, and urbanization.
