Lorin Fries is a dynamic professional with ten years’ expertise in sustainable and inclusive development. She has experience with business, government, civil society and academia with the World Economic Forum, the U.S. Agency for International Development, Save the Children in Uganda and Harvard University’s Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. In her current role with the New Vision for Agriculture initiative at the World Economic Forum, Lorin designed and leads the Transformation Leaders Network, a community of global leaders dedicated to exchanging good practices and innovation in agriculture. In this context, Lorin leads a Women’s Entrepreneurship workstream that convenes agribusinesses, retailers, bankers, international organizations, NGOs and academia to identify the business case and best practices for investing in women along agriculture and retail value chains. Lorin received a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
