Patrick Bryan is a Senior Vice President at the American Heart Association. He is responsible for the strategic direction and management leadership of AHA's Workplace Health Solutions business. The business is comprised of a suite of evidence and science-based digital tools, resources, and services designed to meet the needs of employers as it relates to guiding them on getting the most out of their workplace health programs.
At the core of the solutions are a) AHA's Life's Simple 7 algorithm to assess employee cardiovascular health, and b) AHA's Workplace Health Achievement Index ("Index"), an organizational self-assessment for employers to measure how well they have created a workplace environment supportive of employee's efforts to adopt healthier lifestyle habits.
Prior to joining AHA, Patrick was a Senior Executive at Humana. His broad-based experience in managed healthcare, Medicare Advantage, Commercial National Accounts and employee benefits related services resulted in achieving consistent, above average, double-digit topline revenue growth and margin expansion.
Patrick has a proven record in sales leadership, strategic planning, operational efficiency, initiatives design and tactical execution of business plans that have consistently improved growth rates, financial results and operational performance. He has designed and executed on transitional reorganizations, and effectively managed business segment turnarounds through various growth, performance and human capital improvement initiatives.
Prior to Humana, Patrick held senior consulting and/or practice leader positions at Towers Perrin, Mercer / A. Foster Higgins, Ernst & Young and Sedgwick. He started his career at Aetna.
