Stephanie Potter is Vice President of Business Development at Rabobank, a premier bank to the international food and agriculture industry as well as a leading financier of solar, wind, bioenergy, and energy infrastructure projects. In her role, Stephanie leads Rabobank’s North America Wholesale sustainability strategy. Her primary responsibilities include designing and implementing a sustainability strategic program that can enhance the Bank’s competitiveness, market position and profitability, and supporting a culture in which sustainability’s relevance is understood and embraced by employees and clients. In addition, she contributes to general business planning efforts and franchise strategy, related marketing activities and events, client sustainability assessments and monitoring, green deals and sustainable investment opportunities, and charitable sponsorships.
Before joining Rabobank, Stephanie served as Director of Corporate Partnerships at Ashoka’s Youth Venture where she supported global public-private partnerships and corporate social responsibility strategy. She previously worked in venture philanthropy in the Bay Area at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund where she helped manage the transition from a donor-advised fund into an independent 501c3 organization, supported donor relations, and provided consulting services to early stage education-focused nonprofit organizations.
Stephanie received degrees in Political Science (BA) and International Comparative Education (MA) from Stanford University, where she pursued an independently designed research project as a Chappell Lougee Scholar and finished with Honors in Education.
